About Me

As the title suggests I am affiliated with the legal profession but my passion is food and travel. I come from a family of food lovers who discuss lunch at breakfast and dinner at lunchtime.  I have lived in 3 different countries and 4 different cities and in each place food has been the focal point…well next to shoes!

When I am happy, when I am sad, when I am stressed or when I am feeling that certain lust for life or not, eating and cooking sustains and nourishes me and hopefully all those around me.

I hope you enjoy what I write and if not, tell me!

“I come from a family of food lovers who discuss lunch at breakfast and dinner at lunchtime. ”

This is exactly what most Malaysian Chinese do! When home, we discuss what to eat for breakfast the night before and at breakfast, we decide what/where we eat for lunch and at lunch we are thinking of dinner!

Sometimes I think we have to convene a meeting just to decide what to eat!

It’s funny, I thought only my family had an obsession with food. Three generations of us, always talking food! Glad to know we’re not alone!

Did you say, ‘food’? Where? Thanks for ‘liking’ my Cauliflower Gratin. Let’s visit each other again and discuss about food. What else? 🙂

Dear Meg@thelegaltart. Love your blog. Like you, i love food, wine and the repeated consumption of both. Never happier than when I am chomping down on a pork burger and a nice dollop of heavy red. Yes, life is at its best when food is on the menu.
